Coastal Shores Watercolor Camp, Day 1 of 5

This year's middle and high school watercolor camp is all about The Coastal Shores. These older children should enjoy exploring watercolor techniques focusing on the jagged shoreline. Practice making crashing waves and rock formations. Then we’ll add a lighthouse for visual interest. The second project is of a detailed shore bird; learn how to create the subtle color differences of a seagull.

No prior experience necessary. With a vast array of painting tips and repetition, these older children will gain confidence to manipulate and control watercolor paint. Your pre/teen will take home their framed favorite painting.
