In this 5-day morning camp, kids ages 6-11, will be creating a rich, textured, hot air balloon scene based on children's illustrator Raphael Lopez's brilliantly colored works. This collage project is a fun one; it includes creating our own textured papers that we have traditionally done. In addition, we’ll add tissue paper layering and watercolor washes. Each day we will read one of Mr. Lopez’ books, hand make paper, and then cut collage pieces.

By the end of the week, the children will have a vibrant, matted, and framed piece of art that they will be proud of!
